Yes. We provide specialist cleaning for feather and down-filled duvets. Cleaning and drying methods are selected according to the filling, fabric and care instructions, with careful drying to help redistribute the filling and restore its loft.

Professional duvet cleaning helps remove dirt, dust, allergens and everyday build-up from bedding. We use appropriate washing temperatures, cleaning products and rinse cycles according to the fabric and filling. If you have particular concerns about allergens, please discuss them with our team when you drop off your bedding.

We clean duvet sizes from single through to super king. Our standard sizes include single (135 × 200cm), double (200 × 200cm), king (225 × 220cm) and super king (260 × 220cm). Oversized, continental or unusual-sized duvets can be assessed individually, so please ask our team if you are unsure.

Duvet cleaning prices start at £15.90 for a single duvet and range up to £26.90 for a super king. Double duvets are £18.90 and king size duvets are £22.90. Standard pillows are £8.00 each and cushions are £6.00.

Delicate bedding should always be assessed according to its fabric, filling and care label. If you have a silk, satin, antique or otherwise delicate quilt, point it out to our team when you drop it off. We can advise on the most suitable cleaning method, which may include specialist cleaning rather than standard washing.

Yes. We clean pillows and cushions as well as duvets and quilts. Standard pillows are £8.00 each, while cushions are £6.00. Decorative pillows are priced separately. If you have a particular filling or pillow type, please ask our team so we can check the most suitable cleaning method.

How often bedding needs professional cleaning depends on its use, filling, fabric and care instructions. Many customers choose to have their duvets cleaned when changing between seasonal bedding. If your bedding has become visibly soiled or has been affected by spills, pets or other everyday use, professional cleaning can be a useful way to freshen it up.

Stain pre-treatment is part of our cleaning process where appropriate. Point out any stains when you drop off your duvet so our team can assess them and use suitable targeted treatment before cleaning. We cannot guarantee removal of every stain, particularly old or set-in marks, but we will assess the item and advise you on what can reasonably be achieved.

Some smaller duvets may be suitable for home washing, provided the care label allows it and your washing machine and dryer can safely accommodate them. Larger duvets and feather or down-filled bedding can be more difficult to wash and dry evenly at home. Professional cleaning provides suitable commercial equipment and controlled drying for bulky bedding.

Just bring your duvet, quilt or other bedding item to Drift-In. We provide free collection bags for taking cleaned items home. There's no need to make an appointment; simply drop in during our opening hours. If your bedding has stains, delicate fabrics or special requirements, let our team know when you drop it off.
